I am Iranian and studied in Serbia. I have worked as an interpreter in UK and Serbia for years. I have worked for different organizations such as hospitals, medical surgeries,courts, police as well as different humanitarian organizations. I am interested in working with refugees in the Balkans region such as Serbia, Greece, Turkey etc.

I am Iranian and studied in Serbia. I read, write and speak in Persian (Farsi), English and Serbian. I worked as a freelance interpreter in the UK for 5 years from 2000 to 2005. I worked with asylum seekers for community centres, police, immigration courts, hospitals etc. I started working for UNHCR in Serbia shortly after the beginning of the migrant crisis in that country (October 2015). At that time there were about 5000 migrants passing through Serbia every day and my job was taking care of vulnerable refugees who needed help. I also collected different information about migrants, problems they had in their home land or in the route and making daily reports. At the moment I am working in the Presevo camp (Serbian-Macedonian border) for Indigo (a partner of UNHCR) and my mission will end at the end of June. I would like to continue my work in any country of the Balkan Route.
