- I have 33 years of experience as a Translator & Interpreter. - I did interpretation at conferences, symposiums and meetings in Iraq, Libya and Turkey from 1986 to 2019. - I worked as a Translator & Interpreter in the diplomatic corps, at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Lesotho to Libya, from June 2002 until December 2008.

- I started working as a Translator and Interpreter after I graduated from the University of Mosul in Iraq and obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Translation in 1986. I ranked the (First) in graduation among all the graduates. - My Translation and Interpreting work was consolidated when I obtained my Master's Degree in English Literature from the University of Mosul in 1990. - I continued my Translation and Interpreting work even after I moved from Iraq to Libya, in March 1998, where I worked as a University Lecturer, Translator and Interpreter. - As a University Lecturer, I taught English Literature, English Language as well as Translation and Interpretation. In teaching Translation and Interpretation, I primarily focus on the practical aspect. In other words, I train my students on how to do translation and interpretation. - My Interpreting work in Libya was almost in all fields. I did Interpreting at conferences and meetings of very high ranking Libyan and foreign politicians. I also did interpreting work at various kinds of workshops at various levels. - Among my work in Libya, I worked as a Translator and Interpreter at the Embassy of the Kingdom of Lesotho to Libya for six and a half years, from June 2002 until December 2008. I did all the interpreting work required at the embassy at all the meetings of the Ambassador and the other embassy diplomatic staff with the Libyan officials. Most of the interpreting work I did at the embassy was political, diplomatic in addition to other fields such as management and economic. - The Arabic varieties that I can easily work in with full mastery are (Iraqi Arabic), (Libyan Arabic) and (Modern Standard Arabic - MSA). - In May 2019, I moved from Tripoli, Libya to Istanbul, Turkey where I continued my work as a Translator and Interpreter.
