I was born and educated in Russia. I have an engineering degree from Omsk State University of Communications. I have been married for 25 years to my husband Paul, who is a US born native English speaker. For a number of years our family split time living in Russia and the US. During that time, I worked for a US based non-profit organization, where my responsibilities included interpreting and translating. Since 2018, I have been working with several interpreting agencies in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area specializing in medical interpreting. I also have experience interpreting in the area of education and social services. I have completed 40 hours of “community interpreter” training. I also acquired the HUB-CMI certification from the National Board of Certified Medical Interpreters.
