I have about 20 years of experience in providing consecutive and simultaneous interpretation services at high level meetings in a wide range of areas, including but not limited to banking, finance, healthcare, education, law, water, energy, climate change, forestry, agriculture, insurance, land management and so on.
I have been working as a Freelance Interpreter since 2001 in general and since 2009 in full capacity. In this period, I was honored to interpret at many high-level events and meetings, particularly at the meetings between the President Rahmon of Tajikistan and the President of India (2018), UN Secretary General (2017), U.S. Secretary of State H.E. John Kerry (2015) and many other officials.
I have excellent command of Tajik, Russian and English languages and can fluently interpret/translate from and to these languages..
I earned my BA in Translation (with distinction) from Bobojon Ghafurov Khujand State University in 2004. I obtained my MA degree in English (with distinction) from the above-mentioned university in 2005. I completed my PhD in Political Science Course at the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science and Law of the Tajik Academy of Science in 2010-2014. I visited George Mason University, Fairfax, USA, as a Visiting Scholar in January-April 2012 within the Open Society Foundations ‘Central Asia and Caucasus Research and Training Initiative’.
I worked for the British Embassy in Dushanbe in 2005-2007, which enabled me to improve my knowledge and skills about the diplomacy and intergovernmental relations.
My experience as Public Education Specialist at the International Finance Corporation in 2007-2009 provided a great opportunity to deepen my knowledge and skills on international development issues.
I am communicable with excellent interpersonal skills. I am open to working with people of different background. I am ready to travel to different destinations on a short notice. I am able to walk long distances, to work in austere conditions upon necessity. I have excellent teambuilding skills.
