After graduating with an MA in Interpreting and Translating from the University of Bath in 2008, I have provided simultaneous interpreting, consecutive interpreting, as well as translation across a wide range of sectors in Japan, the UK, Bermuda and throughout Europe.

Born and raised in Tokyo, I have lived in the UK, Bermuda and Belgium. This has given me the opportunity to connect with people from all over the world and made me realise that empathy is the key to successful communication. Empathy allows me to understand the speaker's intentions and convey not only the message, but also its nuances. That's why I interpret with heart.​ ​ My areas of expertise include advertising, aviation, healthcare, marketing and visual arts. I have also interpreted for clients in other sectors including offshore wind farms, insurance, and online retail. ​ I'm a certified member of the Japan Association of Conference Interpreters.
