I am a sworn translator and interpreter with a Master's Degree in Conference Interpreting. My experience combines hundreds of hours spent in the booth as a simultaneous interpreter with hundreds of hours as consecutive interpreter for delegations, notarial events, business meetings, meetings between representatives of the Romanian Parliament and Government and foreign authorities (ministries, embassies etc.) in both English and French. Last, but not least, I was also a facilitator between numerous foreigners who had to deal with the Romanian bureaucracy and the Romanian institutions. I believe that an interpreter must be able to deal with a variety of domains (based on proper preparation, if necessary) and settings, and I worked more frequently in conferences pertaining to medicine and psychology, finance, legal, economics, oil and energy, environment, administration and education. I had the opportunity to work both with international organizations (such as World Bank, European Commission, European Judicial Training Network, OECD etc.), as well as the Romanian Parliament and Government, the Romanian institutions pertaining to the judicial system (such as the National Institute of Magistracy) and large organizations from the private sector, such as OMV Petrom.
