In 2005, I was responsible for providing interpreting services in (face-to-face):
- Departments and Clinics in hospitals around London (NHS);
- Office of Solicitors and Crown Courts around the UK.
In 2023, I trained as a Phone Interpreter (consecutive) for Language Line Solutions, specialising in medical interpretation.
I am currently responsible for handling calls on demand, and render the meaning of conversations between Portuguese and English speakers. The interpreter breaks the communication barrier in a wide range of industries that LanguageLine Solutions serves: Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Financial, Utilities, Travel & Hospitality, General Business, Law Enforcement, and 911.
I process information quickly, concisely and recognize sensitive cultural differences. I am professional and courteous at all times, using appropriate terminology and understanding common industry procedures and practices.
