I have grade 12 in school which I passed in 1998 and in 2001 I joined the department of justice as a court interpreter. It was in August 2003 where I attended a course in interpreting and translation at justice college. I have since been working in court as a court interpreter from 2001. I do consecutive interpretation in court.
I also do interpreting and translation outside court to supplement my income. I do interpreting in disciplinary proceeding, in public meetings and in church services where I am paid a full day fee. I am also free to travel to any part of the world where my services are required. I must also mention that I was once requested to lecture students about court interpreting.
