Emmanuel P.A. Cochard was born in 1965. Originating from Geneva, Switzerland, he grew up in an international environment doing his schooling in French, English and Swedish. After graduating in refugee studies and international relations, he worked in diplomacy both with government diplomatic representations as well as with the United Nations Organisation at the European HQ and in the field. Has lived in 8 different countries in Europe, the Pacific and Southeast Asia, he can speak 5 languages fluently and is able to converse is several others. He now lives across two borders, Singapore and Malaysia, and concentrates on international events where he works as a conference simultaneous interpreter.
