Good day,
my name is Laura Yedra. Allow me to highlight that I have 42 months of experience working as a virtual interpreter for Languageline Solutions LLC
As a Spanish Consecutive Interpreter, I delivered interpretation services via telephone using proper pronunciation, enunciation and polite expressions, I rendered correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions. Other responsibilities within my work at Languageline ; that I maintain a professional demeanor throughout the audio interpreting sessions, followed client instructions, in compliance with protocol to ensure client expectations were met with the Limited English-speaking Person (LEP), avoiding interaction with the LEP without client’s permission.
I acquired the ability to demonstrate commitment to cultural sensitivity by providing interpretation service to diverse industries such as insurance, 911 calls, court proceedings, medical calls, and customer service calls.
It was through Languageline Solutions LLC that I was fortunate to have received training in the fields that follow ;HIPAA Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act, CHIA California standards for Health Care Interpreters, Interpreter Code of conduct, Fraud Waste and abuse, NCIHC National Standards of Practice for Interpreters in Health Care, and NCIHC National Council on Interpreting in Health Care.
