I am a freelance interpreter with 20 years experience of consecutive and simultaneous interpreting in various events. Very good communication skills; multi-lingual (English, Russian, Polish); and most of all I enjoy working with people. I have natural ability to create a friendly, open atmosphere. Cultural mediator, specialist in NGO.
I love jobs with challenges to overcome; I am happy when results achieved and clients satisfied. I keep contact with other people avoiding negative emotions, disappointments and preserve participants’ sense of autonomy and naturalness. I am a good listener and can create a calming atmosphere. My broad work experience taught me to respect people and help them to attend to their needs.
Since 2010 I was dedicated Interpreter for NHS Mental Health Interpreting Service for Russian and Polish patients. I enjoy good relationship with medical staff, receive high remarks and often named as preferred interpreter, especially for long term clients. I feel that I am giving valuable skills, time and energy to the community.
Britain always been my passion, I feel the story through its land, myths, legends, and people. I love creating special tours whether it be one day adventure or expanded spiral observation connecting the dots of humans psyche and wonders of the world. I feel at home in Albion, indeed my family roots are in Scotland and Ireland.
I am fit and enjoy yoga, walking, cycling, skiing and swimming. I have special interest in growing and using herbs for cooking, preventive medicine, cosmetic and domestic; I grow my own fruits and vegetables.
