I have been working as a translator and interpreter for over 20 years, but languages have been my passion ever since I was a little kid growing up in a multilingual and multicultural family. I decided to become a translator during my first year of middle school and never changed my mind since. Over the years, I’ve worked in different countries (Switzerland, China, France, Spain, Portugal, Holland), and this job allowed me to meet very interesting people and to learn about things I would never have come in contact with had I not been a translator or interpreter, for instance in the automobile industry, in the train industry, the police, in the luxury industry, etc. Along the way, I also picked up new skills, like subtitling and transcribing. My love for languages and accuracy makes me a very thorough translator, always willing to do more research about the topic of the translation as well as the usage of the language, its grammar, the spelling, etc. For me, communication is one of the most important skills in life as it helps foster good relationships and avoid misunderstandings and their sad consequences.
