I was born in Ecuador and I am Chinese descendent. I started teaching since I was in High School. Did some translations then. Sometimes I helped chinese people who arrived to ecuador. I love teaching and traslations, both give you a great chance to learn and educate yourself no matter what the subject is. I started since late 1980s being a printing salesman while studying mechanich technologies for a year. Then I was a receptionist in a hotel. I went to the university to study to be an English teacher and a translator. I finished it in 1990. I started working as an English teacher in school formally. I started working as a freelance translator for the American consulate more or less that year. Transaltions were about academical grades though the consulate ofn authenticates the signatures and not the oontent under an oath. I've done it all these years. There has been lots of work, like Engineeing, dredging, legal, birh and deseace certificates, academical grades, divorce certificates and legal. A couple of years I did some work for the police on autopcies. For a short period I´ve worked as a bilingual tourist guide and a direct interpreter for the Spiritual University Brahma Kumary, and did some interpreting on the tv with Dr. Kokadai. I´ve also done interpretation in Aikido seminars and bringing the teachers around the city to do city tours. Bieng an English teacher and helping the students to present their term paper is another work that has involved with translations from Spanish to English and either way since the student´s mother language is spanish. There has been a great variety of topics, from social subject, psychology, medicine, sociology and many others. Another thing I am forgetting is my stay in Macao, a small city quite near to Hong Kong during 1970 to 1978. There I learned English and Chinese but my principal languange being used in school was English. The first two years were tough, I did not speach portugues, chinese nor English.
