In 2005, I was responsible for providing interpreting services in (face-to-face): - Departments and Clinics in hospitals around London (NHS); - Office of Solicitors and Crown Courts around the UK. In 2023, I trained as a Phone Interpreter (consecutive) for Language Line Solutions, specialising in medical interpretation.

Interpreter in Lisbon - Portugal. I know the cultural nuances of both countries very well. I have experience in interpreting at business meetings, registering firms, concluding sales contracts, weddings, master classes, written translations from medical articles to children's books.

I’m Benjamin, a native bilingual English-Italian translator and conference interpreter. I grew up between South Tyrol and northern England. I was lucky enough to learn German from an early age and have kept studying it to this very day; Portuguese came later but is now an integral part of my life – as I am based and live in Lisbon.

As a journalist I have good communication skills, specially because I have mostly worked in international environments, which gave more insight for different ways of communicating. Althtough I have mostly made journalism for Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa, environmental issues and tourism in Portugal are also my subjects.
