Angelika is a native of Germany. She was born and raised in Southern Germany near the borders of Austria and Switzerland, attending local schools. After attending law school and graduating from the judge trainee program, she practiced law in Germany before following her husband to the US, courtesy of the US Army. She has lived in Colorado Springs since 1994. In 2004, she became a US citizen. Angelika has worked as the paralegal for Larry R. Gaddis with Gaddis, Kin, Herd & Craw, P.C. since 1996. In 1998, she established AMB German Law Consulting, LLC, to address certain legal and linguistic needs specific to the many Germans especially in the Pikes Peak Region. Besides translating documents, she also has been handling German probate matters and applications for German social security, as well as acting as a liaison with German governmental authorities and German courts. In addition, she also has been a court interpreter in the entire state of Colorado since 2002, and a court visitor in guardianship and conservatorship cases in El Paso and Teller Counties.
