The mastery of both Swahili and English alongside with the local language has been a huge blessing to me. Ranging from taking part in local community projects to working in a government institution as a communication assistant. The mastery of the languages has enabled me to work with the non locals to set up their businesses locally.

Interest in languages dates back to my early school life where i was a leader for the most part of that period. I was tasked to address my peers alongside the teachers during the official assembly days. This did not only boost my communication proficiency but also my confidence of addressing huge crowds. The interest and the language has enabled me interact with various people in the society when dealing with research and feedback from various sections of the society. I worked as a language instructor immediately after my high school education in my former school. The school had confidence in me even though i had not trained as a teacher, my skills were unmatched. I later participated in numerous community projects to help the local people understand before they were rolled out. The feedback collected from the interactions were channeled to the bosses for adjustments and address the concerns. I was also hired by one non-local Indian citizen when setting up his business to help him settle and analyse the market as well as the concerns of the people. Even though my profession lies deep in Economics and Finance, interest in language skills and application still remains part of my DNA. A chance to further apply this interest and skills will be a source of joy to me.
