I am a professional translator/ interpreter and a tourist guide based in the Netherlands (Amsterdam). I have a Bachelor's degree in Technical Translation and Master's in English Language and Culture.I have experience as an interpreter working for big international clients at meetings, presentations, exhibitions etc.
My Bachelor degree is in Technical Translation (from/into English, Latvian and Russian). During my Bachelor I made an exchange programme in University of Alicante at the faculty of Translation and Communication. Later on, I completed Master's in English Language and Culture at Vrije University of Amsterdam. It was a programme focused on language and communication.
I have got work experience in different related fields such as hospitality, customer service and translation. Eventually, I have been working as a freelance translator for a few years now. Being a freelancer gave me a chance to explore different places. I gained a vast experience in translating texts on different topics from/into Russian, Latvian and English.
