My name is Polina Elena and I am 24 years old. I am a Luso-Russian student living in Portugal, daughter of a Russian mother and a Portuguese father. In July of 2017 I have successfully finished my four-year BA in International Relations and Italian at the University of Exeter, in England.

The learning of languages and the interest for diverse cultures has also been a constant in my academic and professional lives. I currently speak Portuguese and Russian, my two mother tongues, and English and Italian. As soon as possible, I intent to pick up where I left both the French and German languages. While doing my degree at the University of Exeter I had the chance to spend three years in England. The third year of my degree was spent abroad, in Italy, working in the Relations Unit of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. During my time in Italy I had a chance to polish my communication and logistical skills while working with people from all over the world, students and lectures, supporting several ongoing international projects, writing articles to present the University and dealing with communications and queries in general. Personally, I believe myself to be perseverant and flexible, with effective communication skills.
