I got a master degree in African and Postcolonial studies at Cheikh Anta Diop université of Dakar. I was an interpreter in an American NGO, Mercy Ships. I was interpreting for surgoens, doctors and nurses.
I worked in thirteens interior regions in Sénégal. I was interpreting from English to French but also from English to Wolof and Serer my native language. I was working most of the time we were working from four am to seven pm. I was also assisting the nurses by taking the vital signs of the patients. At Mercy Ships I worked in two teams: the screening team and the eye department.
