Mr. Abreu is a professional English-into-Portuguese/Cabo Verdean Creole Translator and Interpreter with over 12 years of experience in the translation industry and mastery of linguistic content and information technology tools, excelling in diverse professional fields and environments. Mr. Abreu has been working for several international organizations, notably, the United Nations, ECOWAS, ACDI-VOCA/USAID and Peace Corps. He has also garnered important experience inside and outside the country, especially in International Development, Project Management, Drugs and Crime, Security, questionnaires and social science working for Organizations and Consulting companies in these fields. Mr. Abreu is the Founder and Executive Director, as well as a Senior Translator and Project Manager at Lang Consult, a leading translation agency in Cabo Verde, specializing in four languages – English, French, Cabo Verdean, and Portuguese.
