I provide simultaneous and consecutive interpreting online or on-site for conferences, meetings and events. Over 300 conference days of experience in business, labour relations, medicine and public policy. ## About the interpreter I am a London-based conference interpreter and translator, working from English and Polish into German. My profession is more than just a day job to me, and I feel energised when I can solve my clients’ communication headaches. I firmly believe that everyone should have the freedom to express themselves in a language they feel at home with. I find it deeply satisfying when I am able to get a client's written or spoken message across to their target audience. With a track record of over 15 years in the language industry, I am knowledgeable and well-networked. Working in an international environment also means that I remain curious and up to date with current affairs. Freelancing allows me to work on a variety of stimulating projects. I am always open to new challenges and collaborations. My experience and services include: • Conference interpreting (I am trained and experienced in both, the simultaneous and consecutive modes) • Remote Simultaneous Interpreting (fully equipped home office and familiarity with most platforms) • Business interpreting (e.g. factory visits, training sessions) • Public service interpreting (in legal, medical and mental health settings) • Translation (press releases, travel and tourism, social media content) I have also been involved in (and enjoyed) more unusual linguistic challenges, such as interpreting at a series of solo performances by a visual and performance artist, interviewing Polish gamers about their gaming habits in their homes, and interpreting remotely from my living room during a chefs' congress taking place on the other side of the globe. | État, politique | Relations internationales et les organisations ## Education - London Metropolitan University, PG Diploma Conference Interpreting (Merit) (2013-09-01 – 2015-09-01) - Diploma in Translation (DipTrans, English > German), Chartered Institute of Linguists (2009-07-27 – 2009-07-27) - Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI English Law / Polish) – 2 Distinctions, 2 Merits, Chartered Institute of Linguists (2011-10-30 – 2011-10-30) - MSc European & International Politics, University of Edinburgh (1999-09-01 – 2020-09-01) - BA (Hons) Modern European Studies, University College London (1995-09-01 – 1999-09-01) ## Services and prices Prices are for the selected period: de 10:00 à 18:00 - 30 novembre.
