8 years of community interpreting, consecutive and simultaneous interpretation experience with NGOs and governmental institutions in Sudan & Switzerland; including negotiations, meetings, legal consultations, intercultural mediation and field visits. I also have 10 years of experience in translation for translation agencies and clients.

I am a freelance interpreter and translator working in Arabic, English and French. I am a student of Master’s degree in translation at University of Geneva, and I have received certificates for legal interpretation in asylum accelerated procedure in Switzerland. I am able to interpret in conflict zones in the framework of the refugee crisis in Africa and Middle East. I provide interpretation services to UN agencies (WMO), international, regional and local organisations ( Geneva Call- University of Geneva- Hospice Général- HUG- Prison de Champ-Dollon- CSP- Caritas, etc.) I work in Geneva and I am always willing to travel to Middle East, Africa and the US for interpretation assignments. I have a Swiss residency.
