I have provided consecutive and simultaneous interpreting in diplomatic settings, at high-profile public events, for television news, at EU institutions, business meetings, and corporate events. ## About the interpreter I am an experienced, freelance, conference interpreter, specializing in German<>English, but I also work with other languages, Portuguese, French and Spanish. I am currently based in London, UK, but always happy to travel for work. I also provide written translation services. My qualifications comprise a European Masters in Conference Interpreting, a BA degree in Politics and two post-graduate Diplomas in Translation. Due to my previous professional background in financial journalism as a reporter and editor for leading news media, my areas of expertise include economics, finance, business and current affairs, but I also have experience with trade union issues, market research and tourism. I am a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Linguists and of the International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters. I am committed to continuous professional development and regularly attend workshops, seminars or industry conferences to update and improve my skills and knowledge. Examples of my work include interpreting live on and off stage at The Best FIFA Football Awards 2017 ceremony broadcast worldwide from London, as well as for CNN International's Amanpour program on global affairs and accompanying the Lord Mayor of London and the UK Trade Envoy to Angola on a visit to Luanda, Angola, interpreting at meetings with ministers and business leaders. I have also interpreted for European trade union organizations in Brussels, businesses based in the U.K. and for the managing director of a German holding company during the weeks-long restructuring process of a UK subsidiary. ## Specializations Kommerz (gesamt) | Exchange, Investment, Sicherheit | Finanzen und Kredite | Generelle Themen | Auslandsbeziehungen und Organisationen | Marketing, Marktforschung | Tourismus und Reise | Handel und Gewerbe | Wirtschaft ## Education - University of Westminster, London, UK, European Masters in Conference interpreting (German, French, English) (2010-09-01 – 2011-06-30) - UK Chartered Institute of Linguists, Post_Graduate Diploma in Translation (Portuguese>English) (2002-01-01 – 2003-01-31) - UK Chartered Institute of Linguists, Post-Graduate Diploma in Translation (German>English) (2000-11-01 – 2001-11-30) - University of London, Queen Mary and Westfield College, London, UK, BA Politics (1990-09-01 – 1993-06-30) ## Services and prices Prices are for the selected period: von 10:00 bis 18:00 - 7 Dezember. ### Begleitung der Delegationen - Price: 593.0 EUR - Free cancellation available - Discount: -50% ### Dolmetschen von Vorträgen - Price: 593.0 EUR - Free cancellation available - Discount: -50% ### Dolmetscher für eine Pressekonferenz - Price: 593.0 EUR - Free cancellation available - Discount: -50% ### Dolmetschen bei einem Feier - Price: 593.0 EUR - Free cancellation available - Discount: -50% ### Begleitung der Privatpersonen - Price: 593.0 EUR - Free cancellation available - Discount: -50% ### Verhandlungsdolmetschen - Price: 593.0 EUR - Free cancellation available - Discount: -50% ### Seminar- Konferenzolmetschen - Price: 659.0 EUR - Free cancellation available - Discount: -52%
