I hold a Ph.D. in English literature and have been working as translator, creative writer, course creator, lecturer, and tutor.

As a university teacher, I have the experience of teaching courses in English literature including general English, literary theory, comparative literature, poetry, drama, fiction, and criticism for over nine years. Students had different educational backgrounds including undergraduates, postgraduates, and PhD holders. I have published three books and seven scholarly articles. One of the articles is currently listed as a complementary source for a course in American literature at MIT. As a Persian tutor on italki, I also have the rich experience of teaching Farsi to international students from all over the world.
